Abraham and Galit

Last Saturday, my friend and former roommate (in Jerusalem) Abraham Braverman got married to Galit Margolis. Of course I flew to Mexico City. I got to see tons of people, some of them I hadn’t seen in almost ten years! (shit I’m old - and yet I look just as young and full of energy).

Welcome

Last week, Nathan Finkelstein moved to Austin to pursue an MBA in UT.
Also, Arturo Karakowsky moved in as an exchange student. He is also as of last week my housemate. He is a decent FIFA player… goodbye productivity.

Cooking contest

I just judged my first cooking contest ever. Some observations follow:

It was good.
Free food.
Lots of dishes (about 12 different things).
I thought I was strict, but then I saw how the other judges scored and I realized I’m not.

The Illusion of the Dollar

Today I went to the supermarket and bought some Topo Chico. I really like that thing. Sixty-nine cents a bottle, “not too bad” I think to myself.
I just payed $7.32 mexican pesos for what is essentially a bottle of carbonated water. I’m a sucker!
